State Geography Bee Winner

On Friday, March 30th, 2012, Alex Raster, 8th grade gifted student at Barnwell Middle School in the Francis Howell School District competed in the State Level Geography Bee.  He tied for 5th place out of 100 qualifying students from all over Missouri.  This is the best a Barnwell student has ever done in the past 12 years.  Congratulations Alex!

Bondidag Cove Team

My 7th grade students recently attended the Future City regional competition in Chicago, and the Bondidag Cove Team earned first place.

Bondidag Cove Awards:  Peer Award (other teams picked their model as their favorite) and "Integrated Highway Design" sponsored by the Illinois Association of County Engineers (IACE)
